IMAP is pleased to announce that US-based gasket manufacturer Hoosier Gasket, has acquired Brickpack, a gasket and fabrications provider based in Sweden.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Manufacturer Brickpack specializes in gaskets and materials for the engine, transmission, processing and material handling markets throughout Europe. Founded in 1967 in Indianapolis, Hoosier Gasket designs and manufactures gaskets, seals, and materials for the engine, powertrain, HVAC, appliance and industrial markets.

It is the largest privately held manufacturer of gaskets and seals in the USA. Hoosier Gasket plans to use Brickpack’s existing facilities and products to expand both its footprint and options for existing customers, as well as strengthen its market position in Europe. Brickpack will continue to operate under the same name as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoosier Gasket.
