Your current financial agreements contain covenants. What is the impact of all COVID-19 steps on bank ratios? Keep a close eye on them to ensure you still meet the covenants in six months' time or by the end of the year.

The following measures and developments will affect your bank balance:

- Deferral of redemption and interest at the bank
- deferral of taxes (VAT, payroll taxes, corporation tax)
- new or extended financing options (BMKB loans, JV financing)

This will provide you with an insight into:
- Which conditions in your credit agreement might be violated
- whether you should negotiate proactively with the bank about the temporary suspension of the conditions and the continuation of your financing

Failure to comply with one or more of the covenants implies that you are in default and this can lead to an adjustment of the conditions. For example, the interest rate can go up, a so-called waiver fee can be charged and extra redemption can be demanded. In that case, please contact us.
