IMAP is pleased to announce that Stichting Geïntegreerde Digitale Zorginformatisering and Pharmacie Huisartsen ICT (PHIT) have entered into a collaboration agreement and joint shareholdership of Promedico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Promedico is a unique healthcare ICT supplier whose primary focus is development and innovation, working together with providers in order to optimize healthcare applications for primary care.
PHIT is a collaboration between Sofa and Grelief, serving general practitioners and pharmacists, respectively.
The new collaboration agreement will strengthen Promedico’s foundations, as well as secure its innovative power moving forward. All stakeholders will be represented in the new structure and Promedico and Sofa will continue to work under their own names. The collaboration is supported by Mosadex, a medicine wholesaler representing over 1,000 pharmacies.
The IMAP Netherlands team, led by Balthazar den Breems, acted as sole financial advisor to Promedico throughout the process.
IMAP closed 140 M&A deals worth more than $5.2bn in the first three quarters of 2019. Consistent with IMAP’s track record, 29% of the deals were cross-border.
More than 50 Analysts & Associates coming from 20 countries and 3 continents met on September 20th in Budapest, Hungary.
